The setting of the hotel offers beautiful grounds and a charming atmosphere, complemented by a lovely bar area and delicious baked chocolate cakes. our experience was marred by a lack of cleanliness, with a significant issue in our room involving unsanitary bedding that remained unaddressed by staff, and a broken sofa in the lounge area. While the staff were generally friendly and helpful, the overall state of our room and the breakfast left much to be desired.

We booked a last-minute stay and were pleasantly surprised. Our room was cozy and upgraded, and the tranquil grounds were perfect for a stroll. I loved that they quickly brought us vegan sausages when I asked! It felt like a little oasis of calm after a long day. The picturesque setting made for some great photos too!

I had a comfy night in a double room. The bed was nice and the bathroom was decent too. Loved the kettle setup with tea and biscuits! Only bummer was the bar was a bit cramped. Staff were super friendly, making the stay even better. Great location with lovely views around.

The parking situation isn't ideal, with access through a narrow lane that isn't exactly friendly for two vehicles going in opposite directions. Room sizes vary significantly. while some are cozy, others feel cramped and dated, particularly when accommodating more than one person. noise from nearby rooms can disrupt peace, especially if there's late-night activity or events in the hotel.
